Is this DEA-approved?
No. DEA does not approve recordkeeping software. Vet Logbook is built to support the records a clinic is required to keep, but your registration, state rules, and professional judgment still govern compliance.
Will it replace our binder?
For many clinics, yes for the day-to-day register. Whether electronic records satisfy every requirement depends on your state board and registration type. You can export the register at any time, so the record is never trapped here.
Does it file our state PMP?
It assembles the period’s eligible dispenses into an ASAP packet and stores the filing confirmation. Your clinic still files through the state portal; rules and deadlines are state-specific.
Can someone quietly edit a balance?
No. The browser can read the register but cannot write it. Balances are decided by one server function, and a void adds a correction instead of erasing the original. The audit trail shows who did what.
